ISO 16890顺利通过表决的重要性在于,一方面长达近10年的欧美标准化体系就化纤材料过滤器消静电测试达成最后妥协,新ISO标准将纳入欧洲标准所坚持的对化纤过滤器进行完全消除静电后进行效率测试,并且其测试结果纳入分级以及标识体系,同时标准也明确说明,这一做法旨在定量给出静电效应对于清洁状态过滤器净化性能的贡献,消静电后的效率会低估过滤器在实际运行条件下的实际净化效率。因此,虽然标准说明采用消静电前后的效率测试结果平均值作为一种过滤器实际运行效率的简单预估,但同时明确强调试验结果仅反映所测过滤器在统一给定条件下的性能,不得用于定量预测其在实际使用环境下的净化性能以及寿命,并以备注形式在试验报告上注明。
