Filtration Materials for High Temperature——PTFE

聚四氟乙烯纤维简称PTFE,是目前为止全世界可找到的耐化学药品性最好的纤维,所以被誉为“塑料王”。

PTFE is short for Polytetrafluoroethylene fiber, which is the best fiber resistance to chemicals in the world, so called “king of plastic”.

PTFE纤维密度在2.14~2.30g/cm3之间,熔点327℃,分解温度415℃。由于PTFE纤维特殊的化学结构,使其具有极优异的耐化学性。所有的强酸,强碱,强氧化剂,盐类都对PTFE无影响。即使在温度较高的条件下也是如此,只有氟元素本身和熔融的碱金属才对它有侵蚀作用。

The density of PTFE is between 2.14 g/cm3 and 2.30g/cm3,melting point is 327℃,decomposed temperature is 415℃.Because of the special chemical construction, PTFE has excellent chemical resistance. All of strong acid, alkali, organize and salt have no effect to PTFE, even at high temperature. But F element and melting alkali metal can corrode PTFE.

PTFE分子链的结构致使其力学性能不佳,纤维的相对强度在1~1.4g/d之间,是典型的软而弱的聚合物。因此在制作滤料时,一般在两层纤网间加入基布以增加强力。

PTFE fiber have weak mechanical property because of molecule chain structure, relative strength of fiber is 1~1.4g/d, which is typical soft polymer. So when producing filter felt, normally put scrim between two layers web for improving the strength.

PTFE针刺过滤毡具有过滤效率高,容易清灰,耐酸、碱腐蚀等优异性能。可在240℃以下长期工作。同等工况条件下,滤料的使用寿命将比其它材质的滤料提高1-3倍以上。

PTFE filter felt has so many outstanding properties, such as high filtration efficiency, easily dust release, acid and alkali resistance and so on. The continuous working temperature is 240℃.At the same operation condition, the service life of PTFE filter felt is one to three times than others.

PTFE过滤材料已在燃煤锅炉,电厂,水泥,垃圾焚烧等行业得到越来越多的应用。

PTFE filter felts are used widely in following industries, such as coal burning boiler, power plant, cement, incinerator and so on.
